What the warranty covers, and what it does not
Three months free on engine and gearbox, paid cover to 24 months with a service plan, a £1,000 claim limit, and the exclusions written out.
In one paragraph
Every ONECARS car comes with a free three-month warranty on the engine and gearbox, up to 2,500 miles. Paid cover extends it: £299 for 12 months, £499 for 12 months with a service plan, £999 for 24 months with a service plan. The claim limit is £1,000 and repairs are done by ONEFIX at £60 an hour.
What comes free
Three months, engine and gearbox, up to 2,500 miles. Repairs by ONEFIX on the same site, at £60 an hour for labour.
The paid options
£299 buys 12 months. £499 buys 12 months with a service plan. £999 buys 24 months with a service plan. Each carries a £1,000 limit per claim.
What it does not cover — the interesting half
Wear: brakes, clutches, tyres, wiper blades and bulbs wear out and are not a fault. Anything declared on the car's page before you bought — you were told, so it is not a warranty matter. Damage, and anything caused by a lack of servicing. Consumables and fluids.
We publish this because the exclusions are where trust is won or lost, and a warranty you understand is worth more than one you assume.
